Early Teardown

Packing up any merchandise prior to 3 p.m. Sunday will not be permitted without prior approval from show management.  Packing up early is rude and inconsiderate to your paying customers and all other dealers, and is unacceptable.  By signing up for this show, you commit to remaining completely setup until 3 p.m. Sunday.

Types of Merchandise

Only antiques and vintage collectibles from 1969 and older will be allowed.  Newer collectibles, new glassware, flea market, reproduction or imported European items will not be allowed.  Collectors Carnival reserves the right to refuse any merchandise that does not fit the show criteria.

10 ½’ x 15’                   $130

10 ½’ x 21’                   $170

10 ½’ x 31 ½’               $255

You may bring your own tables or rent tables from us for $10 each.  Rental tables are 8’ long x 2 ½’ wide.  Rental tables must be ordered and paid for a minimum of 7 days in advance of the show.  Padded chairs will be provided at no charge.

Display

All tables must be covered.  If merchandise is displayed below your table(s), they do not need to be skirted.   However, any storage materials, boxes, etc. must be out of view either by storing them in your vehicle or by skirting your table(s).

Your booth display must allow enough room for you and anyone with you to sit inside your booth, not out in the aisle.

No tape is allowed on the carpeting.  Any damage to the carpeting or wall in a booth will be charged to the dealer.

Only one dealer’s merchandise is allowed per booth.  Multiple dealers, each with their own merchandise, will not be allowed to share one booth.  However, you are allowed to have a spouse or helper with you as long as they are registered in advance. Everyone in your space must wear their wristband the entire weekend.

Added lighting cannot be intrusive to the dealers around you and must be able to be directed toward the floor.  Please turn off all lights and lighted signs in your booth(s) prior to leaving Friday and Saturday.  Any lights left on will be turned off by Collectors Carnival staff.

Power

Power is included at no charge.  Power boxes are located in the floor. Dealers must supply their own 50’ extension cords and multi-outlet strip in order to reach the power box.  Any dealer who opens a closed power box will be charged $50.

Indiana Tax Number

The State of Indiana requires all vendors selling merchandise within the state to have in their possession a valid Indiana sales tax number and to collect and report the 6% Indiana sales tax.  It is our duty to inform you of this state requirement, but compliance is your responsibility.  If you have questions or need a tax number, please contact the Indiana Department of Revenue in Evansville at 812-479-9261.

Check In, Load In & Load Out

Please check in 15-30 minutes prior to your assigned load in hour.  Dealers and helpers must check in inside the Locust Street main entrance to Exhibit Hall B before parking at any of the loading areas.  You will receive your wristband(s), which must be worn the entire weekend, including during setup. Dealers or helpers without wristbands may not enter the exhibit hall.  All dealer help must be added to the check in list at least 7 days prior to the show.  Before parking at one of the load in areas, dealers and helpers must have a wristband and Load In pass visible in the front dash of your vehicle.

The Exhibit Halls are carpeted.  All merchandise must be carted or carried in.  Drive-in is not allowed.  Dealers are responsible for providing their own carts and dollies, unless you are hiring the optional porter service.  Load in is available from two sides of The Centre along 9th and Walnut Streets.  One lane of curbside parking on 9th Street is available for load in through the large overhead door from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. and 5:30 – 8 p.m.  Walnut Street will be used as a secondary access for load in as needed from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.

It is Centre policy that there is no loading in through the front main entrance on Locust Street – neither carted, nor carried in.  However, vendors may use this front entrance for load out after 3 p.m. Sunday – carry out or two-wheeled dollies only, no flat bed, four-wheeled carts.

Please have the courtesy to unload and move out before unpacking.  Setup goes until 8 p.m. Friday for all dealers.
